The past 2 months have been a rollercoaster ride for me.

Many ups, and many downs.

However, the downs seem to overpower the ups easily.

But you cant deny the power of friendship, its there for a reason.

To a very specific friend of mine, i have totally no idea if you will ever chance upon my blog, but here i am blogging about you.

You have no doubt given me possibly the best 2 months of my life ever.

Though there were many rejections and i would say "arguments" along the way, you've been patient and you somewhat made me a better person.

You gave my life lessons, you pointed out my mistakes.

You gave me advice on how to live my life, without anyone trying to take advantage of me.

You motivate me to give up on all the bad habits i've been doing.

You taught me to be more selfish, and not to keep blaming/hating myself for everything.

Scientists have tried to answer the question, "Does Santa come with flying reindeer to deliver presents at Christmas?" This is what they have found:

5. Assuming that each child get nothing more than a medium-sized Lego set (weighing 2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying a payload of 321,300 tons, not counting jolly ol' Saint Nick himself.

6. A standard reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even if flying reindeer might pull 10 times more than a normal reindeer, Santa would need 214,200 reindeer to pull the sleigh. The reindeer, payload, Santa and sleigh would therefore weigh more than 353,430 tons. This is four times the weight of the Q.E. II cruise ship.

7. This 353,430 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates tremendous air resistance, heating the reindeer in the same manner as a spacecraft re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer would therefore absorb 14.3 quintillion joule of energy, per second, each.

8. The lead reindeer, as a result will burst into flames, exposing the reindeer behind them and creating massive sonic booms in their wakes. i recommend dialog in the dark.

its truely an enjoyable experience,
to know how it feels to be blind,
and to understand the things the blind go through everyday.

first up, we did activities to warm up,
such as picking safety pins from a bowl of rice blindfolded,
and drawing a picture while being guided by a person who can see.

we then took the sticks, and walked into the room.
its really dark, you might think you can see light somewhere,
but its really dark, and you have to feel your way through the various rooms.

first up is the forest/park room, where there are trees we can feel, plants we can touch.
grass we walked on, pebbles, and even soil.

we then moved on to the water fall room, where we touched rocky walls,
and even walked over a suspension bridge.

the next room is the room with the boat ride experience,
truely amazing, with really good simulations.

we also crossed a traffic light, feel the surroundings of a carpark.
went to the fruits market, touched a letter box.
we even rang the doorbell of someone's house, and hearing dogs barking back at us.

last up was the cafe, where we ordered drinks and cookies from the visually impaired people.

Oh yes, the tour is guided by blind people, and they are really talented!
and my tour guide was chen wei lian kelvin.
really nice and funny guy!

First time leading the camp as camp commandant,

and so i've spending alot of time with my china buddies.
they are the ones that spent 6 weeks with me at my stay there.

i really enjoy every moment i am with them,
im really thankful that i was given this opportunity to go, and to know them.

and we had dinner with them in town today.
we caught up with each other,
we even lou hei infront of ion orchard.
such fun we had! takes our mind off studies and exams!

i seriously hate goodbyes.
after having one just a couple of months ago when i left china was bad enough.
now i have to go through it all over again.

a group of china students(18 of them) from the university i went to in china came over to singapore for holiday.
the 15 of us who went over to china for 6 weeks then took turns to accompany them during their 2 weeks stay here.
we played murderer, we talked, we shopped, we went around singapore, we drank.
it was fun, indeed.
my late nights weren't wasted.
i looked forward to meeting them everyday.
but i guess its all over,
they have gone back to their country.

May they have a safe trip back,
and i would want to see them soon!

i better blog before the ~~world~~ year ends.
31 december,
this year had been very eventful for me.

lets summarize it.
3 trips to JB,
1 trip to China,
1 trip to Hong Kong,
1 new handphone,
1 new laptop,
1 driving license.

money spent = alot.
great year,
especially the trip to China!

Love my parents,
Love my God.

May 2010 be a great year ahead.

you guys must be wondering why my post are so short?
well, i've been reflecting upon my life, as my birthday comes and goes, and the year is ending soon.

i've had a wonderful birthday celebration,
by my friends and family.
really a big thank you to those who wished me happy birthday,
and those who gave me gifts in the form of pain, and happiness.
really appreciate that you took time off to spend the day with me.

so i'm 18 and what are the days, months, years ahead gonna be?
its basically being able to learn how to drive, and to be able to go to join while jaywalking.
and another thing, temptation.
legal to drink, legal to smoke,
but then again, i must know my limits.
